About Sienna

Sienna Reynaga, a graduate of Harvard College, has spent the entirety of her career devoted to the personal and professional development of others, with a special focus on education and spiritual development.  Sienna has written for and consulted with organizations in the areas of business transformation, corporate identity, marketing strategy and fund development, with a special focus on small businesses.

Sienna began her career working for the start-up company Achieva (prior to its acquisition by Kaplan) on their national Professional Development team.  Sent to impoverished communities across the country, Sienna worked with students and staffs to help them develop and teach basic skills for success, college preparation and planning.  In addition, she has held key positions with The Princeton Review and WRC (Weekly Reader Corporation) Media.   These roles have taken her to more than 400 schools in over 75 communities across the country, including New York City, Boston, Washington D.C., Chicago, Atlanta and Los Angeles.

Sienna was twice a member of a 40-person delegation of U.S. educators and executives to various provinces in South Africa.  During these trips, the delegation met with the Minister of Education, leadership from The Nelson Mandela Foundation and visited with children and teachers living in settlements and the poorest areas of the country.  Most recently she participated in the 2010 Fortune Time CNN Global Forum in Cape Town, South Africa where the focus was on how to capitalize on the world’s emerging markets.

Working with businesses in a myriad of industries, she has written successful business plans and grants, branded entrepreneurs, helped leadership teams grow their business and managed events – all with an objective of helping organizations grow and succeed.

Sienna’s personal experiences and life adventures have inspired her to share her insight and observations through the written word  as she embarks on her first book project regarding the hidden self esteem issues of Type A personality girls and pursues her writing through various publications.

Her writing is complemented by her continued work with disadvantaged children and women who have been victims of abuse.  A graduate of the Miami Beach Citizen’s Police Academy, Sienna has devoted significant time as a volunteer with the Junior League of Miami, YMCA, Salvation Army Homeless Shelter, Educate Tomorrow, Miami Rescue Mission, Children’s Home Society of Florida and World Youth Day in Madrid and Rio de Janeiro.

A native Californian, Sienna now resides in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.  To this day, she continues to support her undergraduate institution, Harvard University, by working as her 10th Reunion Chair and serving on the Harvard Alumni Association’s Board of Directors as a member of the Undergraduate Relations and Happy Committees.
